The Pier Scheveningen

The Schevening Pier is a pier in the North Sea near Scheveningen. Opened in 1961, the building that replaced the old pier from 1901 serves as a catering, shopping and entertainment complex. The pier was closed in October 2013 because it no longer met fire safety requirements, but after a major renovation, it was partially reopened on 18 July 2015.
